About a month ago, I took a trip down to Belmar on the Jersey shore to visit the annual seafood festival. I've been going with family and friends for years and years now, and it's an annual tradition I look forward to. They have every type of seafood you could imagine, from lobster to oysters to calamari to butterfly shrimp and more, and it's all at a fraction of the price you'd pay in a restaurant. Hello there, $13 lobster.
I took some photos when I visited this time. The festival can get super busy but luckily, I went earlier in the day with a few friends and it wasn't quite the mayhem it can be. A warm day, a seat on the boardwalk and some fresh seafood. I really couldn't ask for much more. How good does that lobster look? It's making me hungry right now..I'll just have to wait until next June to get my fix again though.
